23 -25 March 2026 in Punat, croatia

Season Starter Camp + Regatta

Kick off the new sailing season feeling relaxed yet full of energy – at the spring sailing camp in Punat, Croatia, in collaboration with in2theblue! Punat offers not only ideal sailing conditions, but also an atmosphere that instantly evokes that holiday feeling: turquoise waters, Mediterranean charm and a harbour that invites you to linger after training or a regatta.

The focus is on three intensive days of training, during which you’ll hone your technical skills, consolidate procedures and gel as a team. Immediately afterwards (26–28 March) come three days of regatta racing in the umpired fleet racing format, accompanied by an experienced coach who will provide you with valuable tactical and technical tips during the races. The camp and regatta can be booked separately – entirely according to your needs and schedule.

Terms and conditions

Registration
The SSLA Camps are advertised via Manage2Sail. All participating teams must register there and download the invoice for the ‘camp fee’ via the platform.

Team or individual registration
To maximise learning outcomes and enjoyment, we recommend registering directly as a complete team. If you are interested in the camp as an individual, please contact us at schooling@swisssailingleague.ch. We will help you form a crew with others.

Team composition
A team consists of 4–5 crew members.

Requirements
Basic sailing skills are required to take part in the camp. Teams must be familiar with the basics of competitive sailing and be able to manoeuvre a racing keelboat safely. Experience on the J/70 is an advantage, but not essential. As some of the coaching will be provided by international trainers, all participants must have a basic knowledge of English in order to understand the training content and safety instructions. All participants are required to follow the coaches’ safety instructions and to bring the necessary personal equipment (e.g. suitable sailing clothing, life jacket).

Organisation & Number of Participants
The camp will take place as soon as at least 4 teams have registered. A maximum of 8 teams may participate; places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A decision on whether the camp will go ahead will be made no later than one month before the start of the camp.

Terms of Payment
Participation is only guaranteed if the camp fee has been paid at least 14 days before the start of the camp. The invoice can be downloaded from Manage2sail. Participants who have not made payment by this date will be removed from the list via email or may only participate if the camp fee is paid immediately.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of the camp must be made in writing. For cancellations made up to 30 days before the start of the camp, the camp fee will be refunded in full. For cancellations made 30 days or less before the start of the camp, no refund will be given, unless a replacement team can be provided.

Liability & Agreement
The participating teams are responsible for the use of the SSLA J/70 yachts and are liable for any damage. By signing the ‘Sailing Agreement Camp’, the teams agree to these terms and conditions.
